The Dog-men

Dog-men are, basically speaking, creatures with a man's body and a dog's head. There are two known reports of dog-men. One is a tribe living in the Adaman Isles trading with India. The would ussually eat rice, nuts, apples, and milk, but, reportedly, they would sometimes eat men. The second group of dog-men lived on the island of Macumeran which the location of is no longer known. The king wore a huge red amulet about his neck, and his subjects wore the image of an oxen in their turbans because they worshiped the beast.
