The Roc, Ruc, or Rukh

The Roc, also known as the Ruc or Rukh, was a huge bird that supposedly lived on the island of Madagascar of the African coast. Reportedly, it was shaped like an eagel with a wing span of about ninety feet, and each feather's quill was 30 feet long. It was so strong that it could easily lift an elephant high into the air.
